I’m just a tad excited about being nominated for the Blogger Recognition Award. I only started my blog December last year so I feel very honoured to be nominated!! It’s very exciting!! I think I’ve already said that haven’t I? Oops! (;

How my blog started:
I started my blog because of my profound passion for books. I just love them! I’ve never done anything even mildly akin to ‘blogging’ before so it was a bit of a step in the dark but one that has been absolutely amazing. I love rambling on about books I’ve enjoyed to friends and family. And now I can ramble on my blog! And I hope whoever takes a moment to read my reviews enjoys them!
Two Pieces of Advice to New Bloggers:
Don’t be frightened of taking a step in the dark. If you are thinking about starting a blog but are a bit nervous because you haven’t done anything like it before, don’t worry. It’s well-worth it. And also, the blogging community is just the best. It’s warm and welcoming and so, so supportive. Some really lovely people in the community! Not to mention the wonderful, wonderful authors and publishers!
It is an amazing feeling to be asked by an author/agent/publisher to review their book but don’t be hasty – only accept the review requests you really, really feel you want to. Otherwise, your TBR with be roughly the same size as Mount Everest in no time and you’ll be been swimming in books – and not in a good way.
